About Us

The Diversity Institute of Bermuda (DIB) is a voluntary, non-profit organization formed in January, 1999, as a company limited by guarantee. It is the outcome of the three annual diversity training sessions sponsored by the Bermuda College. Many events and training workshops have been held for a variety of public and corporate organizations since then.

Unfortunately, in recent years DIB has run into difficulty and was to be wound up at the Annual General Meeting held on 17 th March, 2005, when the following four members stepped forward with the offer to keep the Institute going. They were duly elected as directors and make up the current Board.

We believe there is no question of the urgent need throughout the community for greater understanding, celebration and inclusion of all residents and visitors. There is therefore an important role for an objective and neutral institute to be a forum, a centre, a vehicle, for interested parties and their initiatives.
